Skin inflammation
- When suffering from inflammatory skin diseases such as contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, skin infections (such as impetigo, erysipelas), the skin barrier function has been damaged. Microneedle treatment will further damage the skin barrier and may also cause inflammation to worsen and the infection to spread.
Skin tumors
- Microneedle treatment is absolutely prohibited for skin malignancies such as melanoma and basal cell carcinoma to avoid stimulating tumor cell growth and metastasis.
Scar constitution
- After the skin of people with this constitution is damaged, hypertrophic scars or keloids are easily formed. Microneedle treatment will cause trauma to the skin and may cause excessive scar proliferation.
Coagulation dysfunction
- For people with thrombocytopenia or those who are taking anticoagulants, microneedle treatment may cause difficult-to-stop bleeding or large bruises, increasing the risk of treatment.
